FAQ

What’s your design philosophy?

Exceptional interiors demand more than just an eye for design—they require a hunt for the most unique sources and interesting, custom pieces. Our expertise lies in curating well-made, special elements—both local and from around the world—precisely suited to your vision. We specialize in working with clients who simply do not want a home that everyone else has. They share a love of art and design, have a vision of the space they want, and are looking for a warm, straightforward team to source the most interesting options and take every aspect of project management off of their plate.

What’s the fee structure?

We work on an hourly basis. We are transparent throughout our process, showing clients detailed hourly billing.

Furniture and decorative items are charged separately from hourly time. We charge clients net cost plus 30%. Clients are never charged more then retail cost. We oversee all the vendor communication and coordination of the client’s selections.

How will you hone in on our specific aesthetic?

One of our greatest strengths is being well versed in many design styles and helping clients seamlessly through the process to achieve the space they envision. During our initial design meeting clients get to see first hand fabrics, finishes, samples, furniture plans and selections. Based on discussion and client feedback, we refine these selections. We actively listen to our clients about their design needs, goals, and vision throughout the process ensuring when clients enter their new space, it is prepared to fully ready to be enjoyed.

How often do you communicate with us throughout the project?

We are very hands on! We guide our clients through the entire process, starting with a quick phone conversation, followed by an in-home or onsite consultation. From these discussions, we help clients better refine the needs of the project, determine a scope, timeline and discuss budget. With this baseline, we communicate frequently thorough the process with updates and necessary information. We communication frequently with contractors, architects, vendors, and the entire team to ensure we are meeting deadlines and staying within the desired timeline for the project.
