Brookline Modern Revival

Adding a modern addition changed this family’s relationship to their classic Victorian house and its landscape. The new area is clearly its own space, but while the design languages are different, the message is seamless. We used form, color and texture to bring an inviting comfort level that is in accord with the welcoming interiors of the existing home.
